Lab-Grown Diamond Stud Earrings

A pair of diamond studs is the piece most people wear more than any other, which makes them the natural place to start with lab-grown. Our solitaire studs are set in 9ct white gold and come in three sizes. Because the diamonds are D colour, the whitest grade there is, they look bright and icy against white gold.

Stud sizes are given as the total carat weight for the pair, so a 1 carat pair has two diamonds of about half a carat each. It is worth checking this when comparing prices with other jewellers, as some quote the weight of one earring and some quote the pair.

Lab-Grown Diamond Solitaire Necklaces

A single diamond on a fine chain goes with everything, from a work shirt to an evening dress. Our solitaire necklaces come in 0.15ct, 0.25ct and 0.50ct, set in 9ct white gold, and each one comes with a free 14k gold chain, so it is ready to wear or give straight away. For a matching set, pair a necklace with studs of a similar size.

    Which Size Should You Choose?

Carat is a measure of weight, not size, but this table shows roughly how wide a round diamond of each weight looks from above.

0.15ctAbout 3.4mmDelicate and understated; perfect for everyday wear
0.25ctAbout 4.1mmClearly visible but still discreet

    Why Choose Lab-Grown Diamond Jewellery?

    • More diamond for your budget. You can choose a larger stone, a higher grade or both for the price of a smaller natural diamond.
    • Top grades within reach. D colour and VVS clarity are rare and very expensive in natural diamonds, but they are the standard for our lab-grown range.
    • No mining. Lab-grown diamonds are created above ground, so the question of where the stone was dug up doesn't arise.
    • It is still a diamond. It won't scratch, cloud or fade the way some simulants can, and it can be cleaned, reset and repaired in exactly the same way as a natural diamond.

    Lab-Grown Diamond Gifts

Lab-grown studs and solitaire necklaces are among the easiest jewellery gifts to get right. They suit any age and style, need no sizing and look far more expensive than they are. They are popular for birthdays, anniversaries, graduations and as a thank-you for bridesmaids. Every piece is sent free by Royal Mail Special Delivery.

      Looking After Lab-Grown Diamonds

Lab-grown diamonds need exactly the same care as natural diamonds.

      • Put earrings and necklaces on after perfume, hairspray and body lotion.
      • Clean them now and then in warm water with a drop of washing-up liquid and a soft brush, then dry with a lint-free cloth.
      • Check that stud backs are secure, especially on larger stones. We can fit screw backs in our jewellery repair workshop for extra security.
      • Keep pieces separate from other jewellery, as diamonds will scratch softer stones and metals.
